Heather Jackson received her Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she studied violin with Dr. Hong Zhu. Mrs. Jackson received the Award of Excellence in Music while studying for her bachelors. She continued her studies in the music program, graduating in 2009 with her Masters in Music with an emphasis in Music Education. Mrs. Jackson previously taught orchestra in the Putnam City school district for eight years where she worked with students from 4th – 12th grade. She has been playing the violin for 20 years and has maintained a private violin studio. Mrs. Jackson is a proud alumnus of the Oklahoma Youth Orchestras. She currently resides in Piedmont with her husband, Will, and daughter, Macy.
