Dr. Keith Hendricks, a native of San Antonio, Texas, is a multifaceted percussionist and educator with performances across the United States as well as in the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, South Korea, France, and Canada.
Dr. Hendricks performs in a wide range of musical styles and genres: everything from Jazz to Classical, including Afro-Cuban, South Indian, Indonesian Gamelan, and Brazilian Sambas. Dr. Hendricks has performed with a number of regional orchestras and wind ensembles, including the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Norman Philharmonic, Symphony of Northern Arkansas, Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Mid-Texas Symphony, Corpus Christi Symphony, Temple Symphony Orchestra, Round Rock Symphony, Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, San Antonio Wind Symphony, and the Austin Civic Orchestra.
Dr. Hendricks performs regularly in a variety of settings and maintains an active performance career. He is a member of the award-winning chamber ensemble What is Noise, which performs regularly across the United States and released its first CD, Equivocal Duration, in March of 2019 through the Centaur Label. Dr. Hendricks is also a member of the Great Plains Percussion Group which is committed to expanding the percussion repertoire as well as promoting educational outreach throughout the state of Oklahoma.
