Reporting an Absence
Please note the absence reporting policies have changed!
Absences must be reported by filling out and submitting the online Absence Report Form below. Paper forms are also available at the check in desk at every Monday evening rehearsal. Students must inform their conductors of their absence. It is very important that students are present at all rehearsals, as the success of the ensemble as a whole depends on each member’s contribution. Please be considerate and respectful of your peers’ time by making every effort to always be present and reporting any necessary absences in a timely manner.
We request as much notice as possible of any known absences, but understand that, in some cases, less than one (1) weeks’ notice may arise. Should this occur, please email the program manager, email@example.com, with the student’s name, ensemble, date of absence, and reason, with “Absence Request” in the subject line. The conductor will then be notified and you will receive a response as to whether your absence is EXCUSED/UNEXCUSED through email. All emergency/illness absences may be emailed as well.
