Sinfonia is a group comprised of developing string players. Musicians focus on learning new Harrison-Sinfonia-allliterature, tone development, expanding bow techniques, and ensemble playing. On occasion, pieces will utilize multiple key changes and shifting throughout sections. Musicians are asked to spend time working on music outside of rehearsal and to come prepared to learn new techniques and music each week.

Sinfonia rehearses Monday evenings from 5:30pm – 6:30pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 5201 N Brookline Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73112. Started in 2006, the conductor since its inception is Gena Alexander.
